HOW TO GET TO LEIOA
Leioa is located in the region of Gran Bilbao, next to the mouth of the Sound and just a few minutes from the main beaches of Bizkaia.
It is well-communicated and has an efficient public transport service.
Furthermore, the airport is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the town if you are coming by plane.
FROM THE AIRPORT
It is just 7 kilometres from Sondika Airport (BIO) to our town. Buses and taxis are available at the airport and, if you prefer, you can hire a car.

Bilbao Airport has a taxi rank located in front of the Passenger Terminal Building, on floor 1, on the Arrivals pavement.
FROM BILBAO
Leioa is only 10.5 km from Bilbao, the capital of Bizkaia and home to the famous Guggenheim Museum.
By car:
You can either come along the Autovía de la Avanzada, the main regional traffic route, or along the Carretera del Puerto, a road that borders the Nervión Sound.
Several public car parks can be found in Leioa, one of which is covered: Parking Lanzadera Metro Leioa, Parking Disuasorio Metro Leioa and indoor car park.
It takes about 17 minutes to get there.
By underground
There are two underground stations in Leioa. This is the easiest way to get to our town from Bilbao.
It takes only 16 minutes to get there by underground, and there are about 9 stops (depending on your station of origin and destination).
